M-55 S - USP Tank for Driver Training

M55 USP is actually a T-55 tank where its combat turret is replaced by a training turret with seats for an instructor and two trainees (drivers). A third driver is in the front part of tank.

The instructor has the following options:

  • Checking driver's main control instruments.
  • Simulations of essential parameters as for ex.:
    • too low oil pressure ,
    • too high oil temperature ,
    • too high temperature of cooling fluid ,
    • gun position.

Instructor can stop the vehicle at any time with a hydraulic emergency brake.

The instructor and the driver seats are equipped with a day&night vision system.
